ding! ding! ding!

We have a winner!

By 73 A body's were big bolt(unless a drum brake car) and subsequently they were 8 1/4 rear ends. 7 1/4 if it was a more plain unit.

I owned a 73 duster as my driver from 87 to 93. It was my first car, so I was pretty into it back then. 8 1/4 321 ratio, all orig.

3K? Can't speculate really without being there to see, or a stack of pictures. Local market is really the biggest factor here too.

I've sold 440's, that internet guys told me were worth 300 dollars, for 1200, so who knows what stuff is worth where you are.

In all honesty, my first thought was that it seems a little high given the described rust, BUT an orignal, complete, running, 340 car, that really only needs tin work in the rear has got to be worth close to 3K

A clean running A body for 1500, easy to find.
A clean running 340 A body for 1500, good luck.
