Hello,

Many of you helped me get my BB Dart going and I thank you. My students are quite enamored with it and are kinda in "awe" of something so different. It runs and drives but needs some tuning. I live in the snowbelt so I won't be driving it for awhile but it was obvious for the short distance that I drove it that it needs some help with tuning.

Here is the engine:
1976 440 re-ringed, 223-230 cam (Hughes) Holley Street Dominator, Some port work on heads, stock ignition with Schumacher Headers and the infamous 750 Eddy carb.

Car:

1974 Dart Sport, 3300 lbs, est., 4.10's, 2300 stall, 3" exhaust.

Intended usage:

Mainly DDing, with 3-4 trips to the track a year. I am looking for a carb that will allow me to do the following:

Be reasonably tuneable
Reasonable on fuel-I have to drive it 40 miles everytime I leave home
Reliable-I can change 4000' in elevation in a trip easily
Have good performance potential for later when I get a real engine put together.

I am leaning towards a Holley, but I'd look at others.

My budget is leaning towards used, or new but not $500 or anything........

Thank you, ROB
