Their are No Stupid questions: the 48 Deg Block does straighten out the pushrods, it also gets the pushrods away from the outer wall of the intake port which allows more agressive porting. Our W9 Heads have large notches on the outer wall of the intake port for pushrod clearance on a 59 Deg. block.
