I would just build it for what you need. The trans itself can be built to do anything you want. Like said above it should just bolt in. Get the tq that internally balanced (that is if you built the 440 internally balanced) and get it to match your cam and have fun.

If your not going to have the trans built for now and you know it's a good trans get a tq for your application and go have some fun. It may not last........then again it could last a long time.
