Using LED bulbs in typical T8 fixtures means(?) the transformers are still in the circuit, and if so, seems to me that negates some of the power/heat/reliability savings LED's are intended to provide.
Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
