Just curious, if an ebay seller sold a old, used $100 radio on eBay, plus $15 shipping approximately how much would eBay take from the seller?
Generally.... $100 for the sold price, $15 for shipping and assume sales tax collected by eBay another $10. eBay calculates the total GROSS price (this is the amount reported as income, also) as $125, and this is the amount eBay bases their fees on, about 13.5%.
Sales tax is collected from the buyer. It has no effect on what the seller recieves.
