So OF COURSE a 5/16 quick connect wouldn't fit. How the hell is anyone supposed to guess they used two different sizes on the same fitting.

I drove an '03 Dak for many years until my neighbor crashed into it. There are a TON of emissions and vacuum hoses on that truck that are the same way--different sizes on each end of the hose.

I was getting a bunch of CEL codes for evap leaks. When I went to replace all the cracked hoses under the cab I realized standard hose from the parts store wouldn't work because it was either too large or too small at one end. rant
