I decided to skip the hotel this year and commute from Glen Burnie on Friday and Saturday, so that was 400 miles on the Challenger in two days. I was glad my class was at the bottom of the hill this year!

I concentrated on taking photos this year and ended up with about 20 more than last year, which is pretty good considering I was there all three days last year. Still somehow managed to come home without a shot of the Landy Duster, even though I took three shots of the '63 Dodge lightweight that was only 15 feet away in the same tent! D'oh. My biggest delay was the 45 minutes or so I spent on my ballot Saturday morning.

The car corral was pretty thin, as others have mentioned, but the showfield--at least on Saturday--still seemed pretty healthy. Not as full as the last several years, but certainly a respectable turnout. Lots of cars I hadn't seen before. Sure, it wasn't another record-breaking weekend, but it was still a good-sized show, and worth the trip.
