No compensation , free entry/ passes when other sportsman competitors paid several hundred to enter. Having security stop the flow of fans/ spectators so we could get to the lanes and having the spectators point at and snap pictures of my car was priceless. May seem trivial but it meant a lot to me. NHRA and the whole experience made us feel like we were actually somebody. Race winner got a Wally ( wasn`t us) had a blast and as i said one of the highlights of my racing career.
