the 528 solid is a good cam. With a set of 1.5 rollers and a tight lash it will have great throttle response. That said you can call and get custom cams all day long for $220. I'd ditch that Performer... not a good intake. FWIW I did a 440 w/ TRW flat tops, ported and bigger valve 915 heads, 528 w/ 1.5 rollers tight lash), headers, and topped it with a six pack...thing ran killer.
