This is the cam I picked for my 440...stockish rebuild, just freshened it up. Removed the solid Crower and valvetrain and 915 heads and headers. Back to stock HP manifolds and exhaust, a set of 906's I had, compression right at 9.5 on already .030 over motor, I just gave it a rehoning, new rings and bearings and a thicker head gasket for today's pump gas, was going with another gasket for 9.8 cr, but who knows what swill they'll force on us so I went to 9.5. Car is very happy with this cam, idles nice with a little rump, not obnoxious and pulls great. Changed out the 10" 3500 tc also when I rebuilt trans to a 11" 2400-2700rpm and original 3.55 rear. I like the cam for my motor and the build I did, when I researched any of the cams I was thinking about, I kept coming back to this one, I called the tech line at Lunati and the I was told this cam/lifter pkg would be perfect for what I was doing...good luck with yours
