I saw the summit kit for 20 bucks last night, but it seems like a waist of money since I already know what the measurements are.
Here is what I have written down.
20 degrees of mechanical advance is .185
18 degrees of mechanical advance is .165
16 degrees of mechanical advance is .150
14 degrees of mechanical advance is .130

No one has been able to tell me exactly what the mechanical advance is set at out of the box on a small block fire core distributor, I've been told 20 degrees and I've been told 22 degrees.
I've been told the advance rate is all in at 2500 and I've been told it's all in at 2800 and all in at 3000.
Guess I'll just have to throw it in right out of the box and put the timing light to get to find out for sure what the settings are out of the box.
