Just recently saw a similar vintage Stude that had the 'treatment' and it was very sharp.
As Gene mentioned, you might start with a comparison of wheelbase dimensions and pay attention to where the rear axle kick-up is positioned.
If you are an accomplished fabricator/welder then making a frame fit your truck should not be all that scary. These frames don't mind being reworked.
