When we dyno nitrous cars on a certain shops dyno........we tell the dyno that the car weighs 4000lbs. This lets us better control the acceleration rate of the dyno when we turn the kits on. When we do this, the HP number is WAY off, but we don't care. What we are looking at is how much power each stage of nitrous picks up the over all power. So what the base power is means NOTHING to me. So NO, we are NOT lying and NO, we don't really care if the base number is accurate or not, because that is NOT what we are looking for.

These are 1100 plus HP motors and we are NOT spraying them with 100hp Powershot systems. So if we set the dyno up RIGHT, when the nitrous hits, it accelerates the motor WAY too fast because the drums can't catch it quick enough
