Yes, a very nice little bolt on carburetor. If you don't want to go that way I would recommend an Edelbrock Performer since they are VERY basic carburetors and low maintenance. For a stock 383 2 bbl engine you might consider a small one, a 500cfm would be just fine, good performance and economy, or a 600 of you want more power. Here's a good source for either. Summit . Also, I would definately get a 4 barrel intake, an edelbrock dual plane design. IMO Overall Edelbrock quality is just fine.
