When I was first married we lived on the Iron Range in Minn., worked in the mines. It got real cold up there sometimes. I was driving my '69 383 4-spd RR, it was the only car I had at the time. My tranny had 80-90 in it. I got off work and it was -48 (that's not the wind chill either OZ). Car was plugged in and it reluctantly started but every time I tryed to let the clutch out it would kill the motor. I sat there for 20 minutes with my foot on the clutch before I could get it to move. After that I went to ATF, no more cold weather problems. Dave
