I have a fresh rebuilt A-833 that has 85w gear oil in it. The synchros don't seem to be engaging as well as I think they should. Will it make enough of a difference if I drain the gear oil and replace it with ATF. I have been told the synchros will grab better and that ATF is what was originally in the units from the factory. Thanks..ever-so for your input.
