No apologes needed bro as that is what we are here for is to ask questions and help each other solve issues/make good decisions. Your torque numbers are impressive to say the least!. I'm assuming the long block is done. You could sandwich a round aluminum adapter inbetween the flat OE filter plate that fits the recess in the block (drill extra holes in the thin OE plate) and the filter but with you wanting to relocate the filter somewhere else you could drill/tap the 2 block holes to 3/8 NPT then run 2 lines forward to your cooler and filter. Make sure the fittings you select are full flowing ones as that is the main oil feed. I'm assuming the long block is already finished & you can pack the block passages above where you are drilling with a rag to keep shavings from going up further. 2 filters parallel might be a good idea as they have to be a restriction in order to filter. You might checkout Sanborns' oiling mods. Go to www.moparchat.com then scroll down to and click on "circle track chat" & his thread is in a sticky at the top of the page. He's one of the countries' foremost SB oiling gurus (his cooling thread is just as good) & the best thing is alot of his info can be used on big blocks as well. with fluid flow keep in mind that any restriction reduces the flow of the rest of that circuit to the dia of that 1 restriction no matter how big the rest of the line/fittings are
