herb has been pushing me to try disconnecting the tach, just haven't got to it. i will give that a shot, hopefully this weekend.

i have an aftermarket tic-toc-tac, and really want to run that. what if that is the issue? is there something i can do to still run that tach?



Sorry I don't know anything about that tach and if it needs an adapter or not.
