Just thought i bring this back up , was looking @ the pic andyf put up with the burnt intake pushrod lookin the worst.

Was checking these spray bars with the valve cover tops cut off , seems the intake push rods on cylinder #s 2 & 7 don't get any oil off the spray bars , just seems to spray into the lifter valley , if these spray bars are drilled using the same template then Indy want to look into it , as all the spray bar holes must be out of whack on each pair they sell.

Have you all got lucky so far? , why break em in without the resrictor , as there should be enough oil with the restrictor in place. Maybe you could flood the top end with oil on initial break in with restrictors in place , or are the intake pushrods (#2/7)borderline on lubrication throughout the life of the motor.
