Not exactly, the factory didn't lop the end of the input shaft off. The trans used was built correctly for the application. If you choose to use another trans you will have to bob the input shaft, but I won't as I look at it as a 1/2 donkey way of doing things.




i was just offering an option,,many many have done it already,,,the bearing stil supports the input shaft
