A high capacity aluminum radiator could help. So could a high flow water pump and high flow thermostat to go with it. I've got a 26" radiator of similar design from Mancini. It works great even with the little 5 blade MP fan.
I noticed the radiator advertised is for a /6. Was your's originally a /6 with 22" radiator? Not sure if it makes any difference but a 440 can work OK with a really good 22" radiator - but 26" is better.
Since you have a recently re-cored radiator and symptoms suggest low airflow, it may be worth trying the better fan + clutch first as the simplest and cheapest fix and go from there.
