I switched about 3 years ago. In my opinion, a vacuum pump is needed to protect the oil. I do run the carb bowls dry as I run an electric pump and let the carb run out of fuel at the end of every raceday. That is about it for maintenance for me. I did remove the foam from my plastic cell. At less than $3 a gallon and a wide tuning window, I wish I would have switched earlier. I run a mallory 250 pump, -10 line to pump, -8 to carb and -6 return. engine is a 572 in a dragster.
