yea now that i think about it i guess the whole 8" converter aspect is the limitation. i'm thinking most of the lockup stuff is geared towards larger higher HP converters. also as mentioned to increase clutch area they may use multiple plates making the converter deep. i believe most of the lockups that are/were offered are geared towards major HP
