Greg's darn near a neighbor to me.......I bet they have both driven on ice a time or two.
It is a great training aid in how to react.
The hardest thing to overcome when things do go south is the tendency to freeze. I have taught at least a dozen youngsters how to ride dirt bikes with a little Yamaha PW-80 . They typically freeze up , get whiskey throttle and stay that way till impact when things start going wrong. This is after many dry runs and reminders that the throttle goes two directions.
Your car would be intimidating to a lot of car people , but I think she is in good hands and isn't going to bite off more than you think is safe.
