Thanks again, lots of info. This turned out to be a 1970 year 390 (thought it was a 360) so sticking with the 390 seems to be the logical choice. Four speed car, just like I want some day. Thats kinda why I got involved with the project. At this point it looks like he wants to have the stock heads ported, and work from there. That will make choices a lot easier.
