A friend of a friend has asked for my help on making his 68 AMX into a great street strip cruiser, with emphasis on street. I may know something about BB mopes ,but I can use a lot of help here. Heads, easiest Big shortblock build, intake, cam, headers, you name it.Thanks in advance!
His desire is a very tractable motor, so my guess is it should be built with torque coming in strong down around 2400 rpm or so, which in my mind dictates a dual plane intake like a performer RPM. Budget is somewhere around $7,000. What ya got for ideas? Also, do you have a favorite engine bulder in the Minneapolis Mn metro that does great work on the AMC motor?
