Lets take a look at the O/P and "discuss" a few items.

No beadlocks. Tires are screwed to rims; isn't that effectively the same thing?

No antiroll bar. I would think one would fight the tuning of the Caltracs.

Leaf springs. The weakness of leaf spring cars is the wrap-up of the front section - the Caltracs eliminate that, which makes it basicly a ladder bar at that time.

Don't get me wrong - hats off to anybody running those numbers, period. I'm just tossing a little light on a few items that I haven't seen "lit".
