In other words you are not BLOWING the head gaskets, as in the combustion chamber losing it's seal - you are leaking coolant. BIG difference.

IF your deck surfaces are too smooth, like they are when you use the scotchbrite discs to clean the old gaskets off, the heads can leak as you describe - graphite or composite gaskets do not like a polished surface. Also, any chance your head bolts are bottoming out on debris in the threads, and not getting full clamping pressure?
