Why are we going through all this trouble to use a Jag fan?
What do I not know?

I wanted a clutch fan but the normal shaft length is way too long.

The "Jag" Hayden clutch looks almost identical to the Mopar clutch other than the length of the shaft.

Oh yeah, to clarify the fan is not included. We're just talking about the clutch element here.

Early B's are really tight when it comes to radiator/fan clearance when compared with later B/E bodies.

FYI, this is a 440 in the stock location with the original style K-frame in a '63 Dodge 330 with factory BB engine mounts. Nothing aftermarket.

After messing with it, I can see why guys use the later B-body K-frame to move the engine and trans back! It causes firewall/tranmission bolt access issues and you have to cobble up a rear transmission mount but in the end I think a later K would be worth it!
