Ok, why would Box and 10.5 be 1/8th mile and S/S be 1/4 mile? Alot of the S/S cars run well into the 9's.

Glassman, I wouldn't want to see anyone blow a tire anywhere on the track. It sounds to me that you were just plain lucky. However if the track is too rough for cars with 32" tires running 10.50's, then why wholdn't it be too rough for a car running 9.80's on 10.5" tires?
