Yes, those are the holes I've been talking about, I have those in my k-frame. No, I don't have the adapter brkts, and they didn't come with the kit I got. So I guess that means I need more parts for this to go on. If you look at the fsm it does not show the adapter brkts, so I thought the bar just bolted to the k-frame. Thanks for the help.

The adapter allows you to use the flat U-strap poly bushings.

The factory bushing on a 66-69 are rubber surrounded by a welded over bracket. It sounds like you never had the factory bushings/bracket to k-member setup??? Do you have pictures.

I'm going to see if I can find a picture of the factory sway bar to K-member bushing/bracket on the net or something...

You need this kit from engergy if you want to run the flat common type bushings.

listed lots of places for sale: http://www.ultrarev.com/product.php?productid=41137

This is the poly version of the stock for 66-69 B-body sway bar bushing that gets slid into the stock welded around bracket like Jim (Hemi71x) shows below:

Getting these into the factory brackets can be a SOB!!! Lots of soap, channel locks, vise grips another set of hands, and patience. Some say it's tricky, some say they needed medication afterwards...
