Excellent numbers! What induction do you have?

It will be a couple of weeks before my motors can go on that dyno due to other customers already schedule in front of me shruggy
I'm hoping to make close to 400 HP on the Ford Motor and close to or over 1000 HP on the B1 motor on E85 luck
i bought a bunch used B1 parts years ago and I'm hoping they work well together luck realcrazy shruggy

Cab, i am expecting you to be pleasantly surprised, in a good way. I put my bet on 1,000+ hp for your b1 572

Good power, I sent UEM an email today about pistons for a 10:1-11:1 528 for B1's, see what they come back with.
Edit-nothing for a 4.375 stroke, so it would have to be a 4.250 or 4.5 engine.

Molnar makes a 7.0 ling heavy duty H beam, with a cometic .027 gasket and a piston for 4.25 stroke it might get you close enough. What about changing pin height on a piston order? Last option, use the 4,5 stroke piston and a custom aluminum rod.

This seems like an awful lot for an MC motor..

Having had BES build me an original motor and talk about MC's with 70 more cubes I still don't think we would hit those numbers. Goodwin builds some badass motors, but scratching my head on this one.

Where is Al? lol

Yeah, I've been waiting for Al to chime in too, as he is used to playing with high end heads. I keep focusing on two things.....530" and an actual power peak of 8500 and I'm willing to bet it holds pretty hard for several hundred rpm after that. Those heads are pretty serious to print #s like that, would love to see them up close.

Yea, the PSO heads are awesome.

This build mentioned is utilizing the MC heads though. I could maybe see it in a PSO motor wingin it to the moon.

Thanks,

So if it's not about class rules, numbers matching or chassis limitations, at what point do you go Gen II hemi over B1? Probably the cost isn't that much different in the end?

Cab, where are taking your engines to, Bullet Racing in Central Point? I had them do some dyno work for me and the owner knows his stuff pretty well...wb

The B1 mc heads, from what i have read, produce better power per$$ spent, so it becomes a choice of what you like.

Put it in a car run it down the track and cross the scales and then get back tome....And MC head is plenty capable of 1100, we did it at 525". Those numbers as with others I've seen from Goodwin are pie in the sky. I have seen one of his 5.0" BS Hemi deals come FAR short of his advertised numbers on a dyno..Maybe I could put up a video claiming I made 1400 does that make it so..

Is that because the piston dome shape of the Hemi hurts power?
