and the engine.
What size hemi? 528?
Nope...432 but it is a handful on the street. Everyone talks about horse power but it's the torque that gets the car launched. A lot of horse power or torque on the street is wasted. What are you going to do with it? Get a bunch of tickets? Have it impounded? Loose it at the Sheriff's sale? Be smart and use the power at the track, not on the street.

You all have me frightened now. my street build will be around 1,500hp/1,100 ftlbs. but power climbs higher in the rpm range ~650hp@4,500 climbs from there 6spd manual should keep rpms down on cruise.
Those numbers are great, but is that on 92 octane pump fuel??With my latest freshen up and new SV1 carbs,I should have 8ooish HP on pump gas and with a pulley change and some 116 octane an easy 1000 plus
HEMI-ITIS has no cure. My condition is fully BLOWN!!

How hard would it be to get this car to hook? Im not expecting the car to dead hook at all, but how do you guys think it would be with the 275/50/15 drag radials, super stock springs (or caltracs) and sub frame connectors?

Radials and a four speed ain't going to work together, trust me on that Radials do not recover worth a hoot once they start to spin, you'll be way better off buying another set of rims and put a set of stick shift 9 inch wide slicks on them for racing That or try a set of the biggest size you can fit under your car of the M/T ET Street tires (bias ply, not radials)Put them on the widest rims you can run also
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

If I knew now when I was building my stroker - I would have skipped it and built a new 3G Hemi. With some minor tweaks (cam, heads) it puts down 470 RWHP, runs an 11 sec quarter, and can still manage close to 25 mpg on the hwy.
Subtact 1000 lbs from my SRT Charger to my Satellite, and it would be an amazing ride.
That said, my stroker is just above 600 HP, has a Hydraulic cam cut on a wide LSA, idles at 800 rpm, 11:1 comp - runs on pump 91, and is more streetable IMO then a 500 HP typically built 440.
It's virtually 100% street - and my grandma could drive it.
1967 Satellite, CNC Eddy Headed 500ci Street Mauler (Dyno'ed @ 600 HP / 650 ft-lbs)
2016 Challenger Hellcat - Holy Hell 2012 Hemi Ram Sport Crew Cab 2011 Avenger, Pentastar V-6 2007 SRT-8 Charger (Dyno'ed @ 470 RWHP) 1986 Caravelle, 318, aka "Rosco", Back Road Burner!
