There's really only one way to do it right, and it doesn't require power tools, tape, cutoff wheels, sissors or saws. Good stuff, watch and learn something unusual.

It works great and doesn't make a mess! They have additional braided line assembly tutorials available too.

When I used stainless braid [never will again] I wrapped it tightly in duct tape and cut with hacksaw. Rarely had a problem..

Electrical tape and a cutoff wheel worked great for me. On the new setup I switched to Russell Pro Classic nylon braided, so much easier to work with!

I use a cut-off wheel and the braided hose is wraped in fiberglass reiforced tape.I also use a item called KOUL TOOL you get from Summit to insert the line into the fitting. Its a great tool and never had an ounce of trouble with it!

Keeping it CLEAN & CRISP is the main benefit of doing it this way. There is virtually no particle contamination introduced into the lines. The braid stays intact nicely, and the price of the tools is right too.

You're welcome....Often times a man's life in these parts depends upon a mere scrap of information.
