Can anyone tell me how many splines are on the shaft? Or recommend a kit for a removable steering wheel?

I had a removable steering wheel for my car, I later changed to a fabricated steering column. I bought the quick release from Summit. I sold the steering wheel release to ProSport when I was done with it. I think it was a Rebco unit with the GM splines IIRC. Steve

That looks like the one, it was a few years ago but the pricing looks in line with what I payed. Bob told me it worked out well on the car. Steve
