I have beat my head on what to decide....can someone suggest the best replacement camshaft using the stock rocker arms and push rods for a total stock 1969 340 with 10:5.1 compression, stock exhaust manifolds, auto, and 3.23 gears in a 69 Dart? I would like the performance that it had when I had it close to new...strictly street driven, no racing. I have read so much stuff on the subject that I have a headache from hell...and I still don't know what to use. Thanks a lot! Kenny

are you looking for high vacuum for power brakes and a smooth stock idle? do you really have 10.5 compression, or is that just what the pistons said?
if you have a true 10.5:1 compression on iron heads, I'd go a few steps over stock for a nice performance gain, you'd gain a nice lope at idle, and a lost more performance over stock. just don't go too many steps over stock, or you'd end up with no bottom end torque and a motor that needs to spin to 7,000 rpm to make peak power, which won't be good with 3.23 gears.
still...I'd consider a few steps bigger than stock if you have a true 10.5 compression

Bob Karakachian has the correct 1 year only 4spd cam available. As well as other profiles. Before you make a purchase, its worth a an email. I picked up one for my A12-440-6v. Chris mr6pk@hotmail.com

I'd try the MP P4452761.
+1...exactly what I was going to suggest!
Ditto here!! Buy the complete camshaft kit, BUT check pushrod lengths and the stock rocker arm setup (condition of wear) for optimum performance from the valvetrain.
That cam should work nicely with your combination. Should be OK with the stock springs/rockers.
The more aggressive 268 cams like the comp, voodo or hughes will want stiffer valve spring pressures that are hard on stock stamped rockers.
With any flat tappet cam, make sure to break it in correctly and use a engine break-in additive (Check Hughes or Comp?) and high ZDDP content oil.
