I was there. The air was BAD inside - and unsafe racing IMO. Brought my 63 Maxi Plymouth with every intention to race. Took a pass when I saw the setup. When I was a kid, my Dad would take me to watch 1/4 midgets run on a 1/8th mile track inside that place. You could get high breathing the alcohol fumes .

how long was the track?
The track was 440 ft. long, 60 ft. wide, and had 600 ft. of shutdown area... and the shutdown area was full of I-beams and ceiling supports.

The shutdown area was down right scarry if you were anywhere near 100mph. My car was brand new and I didn't want to smash it up. To make things worse, traction was not very good - on ether end.
