When switching to these transmissions behind a BB mopar, obviously you have to switch to a jw bell housing, shifter, flex plate for 8 bolt crank to convertor, driveshaft yoke. Will my starter work with the thicker bell housing? Can I use my 727 convertor, just have it modified for PG/th400?
Anything else I am missing?

the best part of the conversion beside the transmission is the deeper bell housing for better converters. I use a JW bell on my turbo 400.

The stock starter will work, but you need to shim it to get the proper starter engagement. If you buy a new ultrabell a shim kit comes with the ultrabell. If you buy used just, call JW and order the shim kit.
