I am having a hard time figuring out which hole the grommet and wire for the tach go through the firewall. The FSM is not a help on this one. I assume it is somewhere around the bulkhead connector but I do not see a free spot. It is like it healed up or something after the paint booth. Any help would be appreciated. (Burdar, have you gotten that far yet?) Craig

The tach wire passes through the fuse block, I believe thru the 4 wire connector for the wiper motor and it's gray.
Yes it is gray with a trace. In the early harnesses, it went to cavity 20 on the bulkhead connector. In 73, it went through a grommet in the firewall and cavity 20 went to the A/C compressor. Still looking for the hole it goes through. Craig
