I am having a hard time figuring out which hole the grommet and wire for the tach go through the firewall. The FSM is not a help on this one. I assume it is somewhere around the bulkhead connector but I do not see a free spot. It is like it healed up or something after the paint booth.
Any help would be appreciated. (Burdar, have you gotten that far yet?)

There is a firewall pic on here somewhere. As I remeber the tach wire hole is not close to the bulk connector

The tach wire passes through the fuse block, I believe thru the 4 wire connector for the wiper motor and it's gray.

Yes it is gray with a trace. In the early harnesses, it went to cavity 20 on the bulkhead connector. In 73, it went through a grommet in the firewall and cavity 20 went to the A/C compressor.
Still looking for the hole it goes through.
