Known as "the cream dream". Twin turbo LS1, drives it to the track, runs 8.60's at 160mph.
Haha, you beat me to it! Neil's car is a pretty sweet machine!
How about Flyin' Ryan's Corvette? All motor small block on pump gas and a 10" slick. It has run some 8.90's I believe? And one heck of a ride on the street I am sure. LOL

Then, there is Ryan's Uncle ,Zig. His 1969 4 speed Camaro is a pretty sweet ride as well. Small block all motor in front of a Jerico DR4 on stock suspension, and a 10" slick. It briefly had a big block in it this year, but the small block was a really fast piece too! This thing looks bone stock inside aside from the V-Gate shifter.

Dave Dudek comes to mind, with a bunch of FAST compatriots.... Jyrki was probably the first name I thought of when I saw the word "sleeper". Relentless the Reliant should have an honorable mention IMO. That's a sleeper for sure!

This is a bad quality video of my old valiant from last summer. With a four muffler exhaust and steel wheels etc. it is a pretty good sleeper, currently naturally aspirated RPM headed pump gas BB with a PG and 3.23 gears and radial tires. Run 10.48/130 mph last summer weighing 3456 lbs, here it's against a '67 Nova STW with a tunnel rammed twin dominator AFR headed 526. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rIL4jZiyFI

Probably not the baddest, but very sneaky nonetheless. 1984 GT350, turbo small block, flat hood, mid 9's at 140.

Never said it had to be a rust bucket. In fact, the most effective stealth (sleeper) weapon is usually a car that looks very clean and original. I think you're not really grasping the classic definition of a sleeper. In a nutshell, Its a car that looks slow, but is capable of. Showing otherwise fast cars its rear bumper. That Dart flat out looks FAST. By definition, not a sleeper. You're saying that your favorite "sleeper" packs a 'chute on the bumper...... Dude, Do you realize where the NHRA line is for a car to need a parachute? This beast might suprise you, but no car with a parachute in plain view is gonna sneak up on most of us. The orange '69 Camaro above..... Are you kidding? Flashy wheels, Meats in back, skinnies up front, an 8" tall cowl hood, roll-bar, cal-tracks..... Not to mention the basic SS orange paint scheme. This car is a killer ride, for sure, but definately NOT in the sleeper club.
