I have a 1991 Chrysler Imperial 3.3 V6

The transmission is acting exactly like the other '91 Imperial trans issues. I've replaced the Low speed sensor, The High Speed sensor and a throttle sensor. Thte car will shift from 1st to 2nd then gets stuck. It was shifting to third but wanted to slamm three times before resuming third. This seams electronic to me.... Any Ideas..

Thanks in advance.

You need to have it hooked up on a scanner and see what the codes are,if no codes you need someone with experence reading the data to figure out the problem,i worked at a dealership for 35 years, worked on a lot of these

Yes every time you serviced it you had to reflash the controller for the trans or replace to latest version

Anyone know the service bulletin for this or anything? Hawaii can be kind of behind the times on this stuff at the dealer!

If it's like the other FWD transmissions you may want to check the connection on the transmission. My sister's minivan had issues and everybody wanted to rebuild it. I changed the plug for the wires and all the problems went away. In fact, there wasn't another problem with it until it got run over by an 18 wheeler.
