(and probably MOST HERE would agree) ... JUDGE these belts on the condition of the webbing and the stitching. I have the ORIGINAL OEM belts in my 62 Plymouth ...and they are fine.

I was told Lee had not been fastening his belts as they were stopping right after the 60' mark and backing up, adjusting and trying again most of the day. On the last test, they figured Lee decided to take it clear through and then the mishap occured. Possibly no belts on at that time. THIS is what I heard also .... from either Don Campanello or Frank Iaconio. The previous year I was a sponsor on the RMS car.

John member J Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 88	A few years ago NHRA was asking for suggestions. I wrote them that if they wanted to do one easy thing that would give them a HUGE PR benefit they could review the 2 year seat belt rule. I never got a reply.

Old combo would run 11.0's. So, we have to have them. But I guess I can use them in my truck I'm putting together. I dont think it'll hit a .49 Yet!
