Bought a car and removed some numbers and various stickers with a heat gun.

Some of the cheap stcikers left a lot of adhesive.

How do I get this off without scratching and damaging the Lexan windows?

Thanks

Use WD-40 and a soft rag to clean glue residue. Clean wd-40 with alcohol, then use a plastic polish to clean up lexan. You can buy this at autozone or advance auto parts in the wax/cleaner section.

Painters alcholol(can't remember the proper name, denatured alcholol I think) will remove the adhesives without hurting the lexan according to one of the more popular aircraft lexam window makers I had a airplane that had aircraft paint overspray on the lexan windows from that company and that is what they recommned to remove the over spray followed up with a good brand lexan window cleaner BTW, Pledge furnisher polish works excellent as a lexan window cleaner, many small aicraft owners swear by it rub it on with a clean, soft cotton cloth and rub while it drys, it even hides small scratches while flyiing into the sun in the morning or evening

I used both Isopropylalcohol and nail polish remover-acetone free.
The nail remover was better, but left a thin coat of oil, which the Isopropyl. then removed as a last step.

I only use a regular hairdryer, as not to get to much heat on the lexan as a heat gun can make.
I had so many stickers on my rear window, so I eventually broke a nail on one of my thumbs, not funny at all...

Thank you guys for the replies.

I picked up some of the painters alcohol and have some WD40 at home. Not sure if I have goo bee gone.

I know "goof off" is a very good cleaner but it eats lexan.

Thanks
