Hey Guys Ive seen a few Homemade Distributors with a Chrysler base and a GM HEI top and cap, but never talked to the people that have them. Im wanting to run one on my mud bog truck, Basicly cause the GM Ignition is better against moisture and you can get a crapload of modules from a junkyard for cheap and also it would be nice to also have everything in one place not all over the firewall to get wet. So Does anyone know how this is done or is there a website somewhere? Ive searched on the net come iup with nothing. I saw the ones where they run GM Ignition Modules with Mopar Distributor but still need to run a remote coil, I may go that route if I cant figure out how to do it this way. And before you say Buy a DUI... IM Poor! Thanks

Nothing wrong with the setup. It works with either E core , or coil with ballast , or without. Depending which coil you use you may need to ground the distributor body with a wire from a vac cannister screw. Can mount module anywhere. When cripping connections solder afterwards for the lasting effect. Best cheapest HEI ever. Get a FBO re curve kit. Why not buy lasting high performance factory products common anywhere.

It is a 69 340 manual trans dual point with electronic conversion and runs a GM HEI module tucked away inside the interior and uses a stock-style coil.
