Ditto, but if he already has the pistons, it might not fit....Love the bob weights on the 7.1 rods with chevy journals....So nice and light.

Go with the rod that will give you the deck height you need. You have a difference of .050 between the two combinations, which will change the compression. The 4.15 stroke 7.86 combo will be .050 higher than the 4.25 stroke 6.76 combo.
