Might make the trek out. Got tickets for the Cavelcade of Stars at Norwalk. Seems like lots of Moparts guys will be there anyway.. Are all of the CC events still going on? I heard there was some trouble.. Oh well, I'll be at one of the races, Columbus or Norwalk..
According to MCG Charlie had his day in court and everything was settled and everyone is happy as ticks on a bore hog. I am glad that Charlie is putting full effort into The Chrysler Classic now. It has been around for a long time , and it would take a really great show to out do the Classic. I have been tuned to radio and have been hearing all the ads about the Classic and they are calling it "The JEGS Chrysler Classic" . Did Charlie sell The Classic to JEGS?

What Rob Wolf actually wrote in MCG, and I quote was this. "I don't think either party was happy with this outcome, but with a jury trial, there's no chance for an appeal in a case like this. So for all practical purposes, the sale of Classic Events is now finally complete after over three years of arguing. To me the best result of this settlement is that Charlie can now concentrate on event managment rather than a long drawn out trial, and that can only be a positive for the Mopar community."
Jegs has come on board as a Classic Events Series sponsor, and I glad you have been hearing all about the Classic on the radio...It can only help the Mopar community, as far as the series being sold, that once again is just the rumour mill from a few who either have no idea what is going on or just want to stir it up The truth is that CC Events has become more determined to make this work, (Note the new upgraded web site) as well as the addittion of several new Series Sponsors...And by the way Glass Man, it is really to bad you will not be in Columbus...You are going to miss a HUGE major announcement at the Classic....But not to worry, I am sure you will hear about it soon...... See Everyone this weekend!

All the drama is yesterdays old news.Let's all concentrate on moving forward in a positive direction keeping any and all mopar related events viable for everyone to enjoy.Without the events we would not have any venues to race, show, sell, swap and generally hang out with great mopar crowd.Sitting in a mall parking lot, polishing chrome is not a meaningfull event. The race tracks that host these events is where it all happens so supporting the events is a positive effect on our hobby and on our economy in general.Everyone gets to benifit.
I am in full agreement with you Bob and I also believe that there should be more of a varity in Mopar events, be it bigger or smaller. Believe it or not, some of us depend on these Mopar events to make a living.
