Define "mild". For a street car with a hydraulic flat tappet cam and moderate gearing, You may be happier with a Vacuum Secondary 750.

With a bit of work my 625cfm AVS pushes my (very) mild 383 3600lb Barracuda to 5750rpm in top gear. A 750 may have me at the top end but I bet I get away faster with the 625. I was hell bent getting a 750 on my engine some time ago but after much A/F logging & tuning I went back to the 625 for better driveability. When I upgrade the engine I will upgrade the carb as well but a 625 AVS with a few mods is all it needs for now.

Easy,
I run a QF SS-750-AN (DP)on my mild 340. It has annular boosters which QF says it's actual cfm is 735. It has adjustable secondary mechanical linkage which you can delay either 40% or 60% with just a linkage swap to help tune the secondaries. The annular boosters gives better throttle response versus my other two DP carbs with downleg boosters. Call the guys at QF and ask them for their suggestions.
You might want to add some more info about your combo unless your already sutup for a DP.

Annular boosters can make a carb that is a bit big work well down low without the restriction of a small carb at the top end.

Converting my AVS to annular boosters & a few other minor mods gave me .3 sec & the same economy with 3.91 gears that I used to get with 3.23's

duelplane intake flat tappet cam from comp cams. Stock exhaust.

I will probably go to headers and rollercam in the near future.

For the price your going to pay for a Quick Fuel you can call Patrick at Pro Systems and have him build you a carb that is custom made for your combination.
