No k-member swap, but then you're looking at a new transmission if you have an auto trans, new radiator (the 18" isn't so good for that and it doesn't have the right outlet/inlet pattern), possibly shorten the driveshaft, all the balancing items for the V8, and all the accessories (the slant alt and PS pump work but you'll need new brackets).

64-66 A, /6 to SB. need set of 64-66 A body 273 V8 mtr mts (not the insulators as they are the same as your/6 ones) or the conversion aftermarket mtr mts which are way more $$$ than the OE ones. ex manifolds from the same above 64-66 273 A body or fenderwall hooker headers or Harolds' spitfires but peruse the feedback over @ www.forabodiesonly.com about them 1st. 340 HP ex manifolds MAY fit if you shorten the coupler to half it's stock length which sounds hokey but actually there is alot depth there and it is saf or I have not done it but a shorter inner shaft from a PS column w the aftermarket extension MAY fit. Then a SB 904 as you know. Find a modern cable from the above 64-66 A body 273 V8 or if you are Ok w drilling 2 holes in the firewall just use a common SB throttle pedal/cable from any 67 up SB A body. Can use either the early cast iron WP or any later alum one depending on which side the lower radiator nipple is located. Almost forgot on 1 of the metal mt mts you need to weld on a triangle piece to match the block mtr mt lugs (& the info is in the archives). In my experience if this is anything more than grannys grocery getter dont use the 273 logs, step up to something less restrictive. PPS bolt on the trans crossmember then trim a scallop in the one side to match the frame cutout on the other side then take it off and box it across for strength, this will let you tuck your dual ex up tight to the floor.

live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth

I'm doing it right now but with a '73 swinger. I think the early cars might have a tighter engine compartment? On my (spool mount) car I got used schumacher conversion mounts and I still have to cut the drivers side 1" lower on the K.

Are you going to do away with the ball and trunion stuff on the driveshaft and just go with a regular 904 trans? Are you going to swap the axle, radiator, brakes, other stuff that won't work good with 2x the power?

The 64 will need a V8 centerlink too, the 73 comes with it already. Took me one day, start to finish, to swap out the 225 for a 360 in my 72 Swinger, but I had everything on hand, had to do a K member swap, no conversion mounts back then.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.
