It took a little bit of tuning to get it dialed in, but once you know the in's and out's of the TQ, and pick up one or two special tools, you'll find it's a very versatile carb and very easy to tweak. Ok they may not really beat it but can definately run just as good and it will run better on a too small motor and it is a lot lighter. Pretty much a no brainer to me I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!

My only complaint is I always found that bog when you nail the throttle open from a dead stop to be very difficult to tune out. Or I'd get it tuned out, temperature outside would drop and it would be right back there. To be expected I guess but still annoying.

Great fuel economy possible with the cfm capacity for any size motor. It's to bad the aftermarket never picked up on it, it could have rivaled Holley as an aftermarket performance carb.Dave
